FAQ's
Each location of Connect Church is a unique expression and so the services will reflect this; but whatever location you attend you can expect a warm welcome, a relaxed atmosphere, and the opportunity to ‘come as you are’. This means that there is no dress code and no rituals or practices that you must do.
For more details about location specific information, such as parking, service times, childrens provisions etc, please see the location page on this website or contact the Location Pastor directly.
We would be delighted to stand with you in prayer. You can either contact us via phone or email, or you can attend one of our weekly services where prayer ministry is always offered, privately if needed.
Yes. We are a Baptist church and have been throughout our history, and we are committed to being actively involved both nationally and regionally with our wider Baptist family.
We are also members of the ‘Evangelical Alliance’ and the ‘New Wine’ network.
We affirm the ‘Nicene Creed’ as a true statement of our doctrine, as well as the stated beliefs of both the ‘Baptist Union of Great Britain’ and of The Evangelical Alliance’.
We are unapologetic in teaching and encouraging those who are committed to our church family to give financially, as we believe it is an important discipleship practice. However, we also recognise that financial giving is an act of worship and therefore it is an individual’s responsibility to consider their own giving.
We would never expect guests or newcomers to contribute financially.
