Operations Manager Role
Connect Church is seeking to employ an Operations Manager to support our mission and ministry in a manner that promotes the strategic vision and values of Connect Church.

Hours: Part-Time (20 hours per week, flexible)
Salary: £12,480 per year
Start Date: Mon 2 Sep 2024 (or as soon as possible afterwards)

Role Overview:
The Operations Manager will be a member of the Leadership Team and will work with the Lead Pastor and other key leaders to ensure that the church is operating to its fullest potential, providing leadership to other leaders and volunteers as appropriate.
This will involve providing day-to-day administrative support, helping to manage projects and events, ensuring the buildings and resources of Connect Church are usable, and ensuring that the church is compliant and operating with best practice where possible.
The Operations Manager will be required to work across all locations of Connect Church.

Candidate Profile:
We are looking for an individual who:
- embodies the values Connect Church and you are passionate about and believe in the vision and mission of the church
- has a strong work ethic and a ‘get it done’ attitude
- enjoys working with others but can work alone
- is able to work flexibly and adapt to different situations
- is gifted in administration, organisation and creative thinking
- is confident using IT, including email and word processing
- is committed to learning and personal development
There is a Genuine Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010 for this post, that the successful candidate is a practising Christian as this post carries with it the specific responsibility for promoting a Christian identity.
This post is subject to a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Clearance and proof of right to work in the UK.

Connect Church is committed to ensuring that all of its staff and volunteers are equipped to perform their role and duties to the best of their ability, and will therefore seek to provide all necessary inductions and training.
